Dear Raj Rai,

This error message indicates that your DISPLAY environment variable
may not be set correctly. You need to set this to the machine address
of where you want the idt window to be display.

If you are displaying idt from the same machine you are running it on, then
you can probably get away with setting it like this:
machine then type:

   setenv DISPLAY:0 or export DISPLAY=:0
setenv DISPLAY :0.0 or export DISPLAY=:0.0

If you are running remotely on a machine named pebbles and your local
workstation where idt will be displayed (i.e. where your X11 server is
running) is named bambam, then you need to set your DISPLAY
environment variable on a windo where you are logged onto pebbles
with something like:

setenv DISPLAY bambam:0
