Hello Rick,
I have read the installation instructions at the web site. I tried
installing it again with the GCC compilers. But I get the same error
messages:

The binaries ctrans, ictrans and idt do not build at all. I'm not compiling
NCAR Graphics with HDF either. I have not changed default values for library
or include files paths.
