Dear Surya,

This message is just a warning message, and can be safely ignored.
It's just telling you that you haven't set up a file called
".ncarv_spool" for sending your NCGM frames to a printer or raster/PS
file. This file is not necessary, but can be useful.

More detail: both ictrans and idt allow you to send frames of your
NCGM to a printer or an output file (like a raster or PS file). You do
this in "ictrans" via the interactive "P" command, and in "idt" via
the "print" button.

In order to activate this capability, however, you need to write a
little text file called ".ncarv_spool" that goes in your home
directory and contains a list of printers or output formats that you
commonly send your NCGM output to.

For example, if you have a color PS printer called "clj24a" and a
black-and-white PS printer called "lj122", you might then have these
two lines in your .ncarv_spool file:

      color : -d ps.mono : | lpr -Pclj24a
      bw : -d ps.color : | lpr -Plj122
