idt&ncgm_to_png

Dear ncarg-talk:

I'm sorry that my previous message (subject:idt&ncgm_to_png) body was too big.
I remove the attachments, and I send this e-mail which include same message.

I have two questions (about idt and convert).
Recently, I installed the NCAR graphics version 4.4.1.
I want to display the graphic (cpex08.ncgm) .
However, I can't show the graphic using idt.
error message as below:

> >reading stdout of translator: Illegal seek
> >Translator aborted
>

If I use "ctrans", the graphic is displayed.

> >ctrans -d X11 cpex08.ncgm
>

What's gone wrong?

Another question is "convert".
I want to convert ncgm to another format.
I tried to convet as below.

> >ctrans -d ps.color cpex08.ncgm > cpex08.ps
> >convert cpex08.ps cpex08.png
>
I could get "cpex08.ps" and "cpex08.png", but these figures did't
include characters.

What is the problem?
