The NCAR Graphics libraries (C and Fortran) do not have a native Java
interface that you can call directly. I am also not aware of any
sample programs and/or examples that do this. (anyone else?)
However, you can access the routines in the NCAR Graphics libraries
to draw weather charts, surface charts and such via Java if you use
the Java SDK's Java Native Interface (JNI).
Please note: I have not done this, nor am I aware of anyone who has
done it with NCAR Graphics. I do know that folks have done this with
the NAG libraries. When you succeed, would you please share your
results with the list? Good luck.
