    Hi,

    We have a work-around. If somebody else has a better work-around, we'd
    love to hear it!

    You need to edit the file $NCARG/config/ymake, and make the following
    two changes:

    1.
             set cppopt = -traditional

    to:

             set cppopt = -traditional-cpp

    2.

        $cpp $cppopt -I. -D_COMMENT_="" -DNGCOMM=\# $defines
        -DYMAKEFILE=\"$tmp1\" | \

    to:

        $cpp $cppopt -I. -D_COMMENT_\#="" -DNGCOMM=\# $defines
        -DYMAKEFILE=\"$tmp1\" | \

    Let me know if this doesn't work on Fedora.
