LSM interpolation

I would like to run CCM3 at a resolution other than T42. I am aware of the
interpolation tools for the atmospheric, SST, and surface elevation files.
However, I have not found any tool for remapping the LSM time-invariant fields
(vegetation type, soil type, etc). I have found 1 degree datasets that can be
used as input for the remapping (in /fs/cgd/csm/input/lnd). I could write my own
code to do the remapping, but surely someone has already done this. Could
someone make such a tool available for the community?
