Print output with colors

We're using ncar graphics 4.0.1 in an Alpha Station 600 model 5/333,
with OSF v4. We're trying to print our output in two HP printers:
DeskJet 820
and 870, using the option -d hppcl to create our pcl file. The
problem is that our graphic always is printed in a black and white form.

We have also tried with other device names (hpgl, hpgl2) but it failed.
How can we get the print output with colors?
