Christine,
Yes, you can have two installs of NCARG compiled with different compilers.
You'll probably want to make one install as the default, and you can do it
by setting environment and path variables for it in the system-wide
configuration file. If the users want to override the default installation,
they can set environment and path variables in their .bashrc or .cshrc
files.
Use `make Everything' for both the installs. The install options in the
`config/LINUX' file will change for the two compilers.
