Hi Shizoom,

I have not personally had experience with the Studio packages, but
awhile ago I did build NCAR Graphics under Solaris 86. The
$NCARG/config/SolarisPC file is the config file that you can try,
although it is several years old.

As for the Studio packages: if you are on a Linux box, the best thing
to do is edit the $NCARG/config/LINUX file, and change the compiler
names and options to whatever you want, and then try it. The things
you will probably need to modify include:

#define CCompiler gcc
#define FCompiler g77
#define CtoFLibraries -lg2c -lgcc -lm
#define CcOptions -ansi -fPIC
#define FcOptions -fPIC -fno-second-underscore

Good luck,
--Mary
