I'm sorry this was such a pain. I believe this was fixed a couple of
versions ago, and I just released a new version today.
It should be less of a problem now anyway, because the topmost
directory of the NCAR Graphics source tree is called "ncarg-4.4.2"
rather than just "ncarg".
However, I just ran a few tests to make sure this problem was fixed,
and it appears to be.
Thanks for bringing it to our attention. Let me know if you continue
to have problems with the build.
