Dik,
I assume you are still using version 2.9x of the gcc compiler? If so,
I'm afraid we've already upgraded our compilers to gcc 3.x, and in
some cases, gcc 4.x.
The one possible option is for us to try to build a static library that
doesn't reference a shared version of glibc, but this is not an ideal
solution, and I'm not sure how doable it is. I'll talk to one of our
Linux experts about this when he gets back on Monday.
