Install NACR graphics on Mac OS X with intel chips (GSK ERROR)

Hello,

    I have installed NCAR Graphics from the source files on my Pro
Mac (OS X) with intel chips. It seems that the compiling process was
OK, because there were no error messages coming out. However, when I
am running the test code, I get the following error message:

> ncargex cpex08

NCAR Graphics Fortran Example <cpex08>

   Copying cpex08.f

   Copying cpexcc.f

Compiling and linking...

Executing <cpex08>...
GKS ERROR NUMBER -107 ISSUED FROM SUBROUTINE :
Metafile file is named cpex08.ncgm.

In this message, no specific SUBROUTINE is given. Can someone give me
suggestions? Thanks a lot.
