Help with a map

Hello,

My name is Talmo M. F. Rodrigues, I'm from Brazil and I'm using the
NCL-NCAR to extract some informations from the products (several_archives.nc)
of a simulation made with the coupled model CCM3-IBIS.

When I tried to generate the map of South America relative to the
precipitation given by the satellite TRMM, part of Argentina, Chile and
Bolivia were colored in a strange way, as can be seen in Figure
Prec_Trmm_01.png. So I've visualized the trmm_media_t42.nc through the
ncview tool and I've discovered a "hole" (a lack of information) in the
very same spot.

Afterwards I've tried, at least, to turn those colors of that spot in white
by making a lot of changings in the script and the results can be seen in
the figures "Prec_Trmm_02 to 07". However it remained as gray,
unfortunatelly.

Could anyone to help me with that, please? Thank you.

Sincerely, Talmo.
