Hi,
I'm not sure what happened, because there's no error after:
cpex08..
Maybe your X11 server is not working?
Try running
xeyes
to see if a pair of eyes pop up.
You can also try this test:
ncargex -W pdf cpex08 -clean
This should produce a final message that says:
cairo PDF file is named cpex08.pdf.
You can then look at the cpex08.pdf file with whatever PDF viewing tools you have.
You can also do "ps" or "png" instead of "pdf".
