Hi Gracielle,
Well yes it is possible to plot any portion of the globe. But without knowing more specifically what you are trying to do, it is hard to know what advice to give. 'You have a map' : does that mean you have an NCAR Graphics program that plots a map, or does it mean you have a plot from some other package that you are trying to reproduce? It would be best if you can attach the code you have now, and be specific about how you need to modify it. Also I need to note that our capacity for supporting NCAR graphics is very limited. We always recommend that users migrate to NCL.
