idt

When I use idt gmeta
I am getting the message:

/usr/local/apps/ncarg-4.4.1/bin/idt gmeta
reading stdout of translator: Illegal seek
Translator aborted

What is the source of this error?
Is it in idt or gmeta?
How do I correct this error?
