    To begin, did you experience any difficulty building NCAR Graphics on your
    Mandrake Linux host? If there were any error messages, seeing those may
    help.

    Next, since you've said that there is 'no error reply' after issuing the
    csh setenv commands, could you please send along the result of this command:

       'env'

    in order to verify the successful setting of the NCAR Graphics environment
    variables.

    Regarding the building of NCAR Graphics on a Mandrake Linux host, that's a
    configuration I cannot duplicate here. I'd be very interested to see your
    configuration results/files, and any logs from the build process.

    Lastly, could you please elaborate further on what you mean by 'it doesn't
    work'? It would be helpful to know how you're trying to use NCAR Graphics
    so that the user community could offer more help. Thanks!
