    Dear Shulan Liu,

    We have not upgraded to RedHat 9 yet, so we are unable to do a test
    compile of NCAR Graphics 4.3.

    However, I did a google search on the error message that you received:

       ../sysdeps/i386/elf/start.S:77: undefined reference to `main'

    and found some references stating that perhaps your version of gcc/g77
    may not be supported under RedHat 9.

    Please check that you have the latest version of gcc/g77 for RedHat 9.
