 While trying to run many of the examples, I encountered this error:

/var/tmp//ccrSQZvE.s:318:section difference relocatable subtraction
expression, "LC21" minus "L1$pb" using a symbol at the end of section will
not produce an assembly time constant
/var/tmp//ccrSQZvE.s:318:use a symbol with a constant value created with an
assignment instead of the expression, L_const_sym = LC21 - L1$pb
/var/tmp//ccrSQZvE.s:317:section difference relocatable subtraction

 This particular message originated with fgke04.f on a Mac OSX 10.2.8
system. What does this mean and how does one fix this error?
