NCAR graphics 4.3.1 on OS X 10.2.6

Hi!

I tried to install NCAR graphics on my MAC running under OS X 10.2.6.
With the pre-compiled binaries some things work (e.g. the idt), but
when I try to run the test programs like fcover.f the library libxpm
cannot be found, even though it is in my /usr/X11R6/lib directory.

I then tried to build it from source, but when I finally type:

make Everything >&make-output &

I get:

Has anyone any experience with installing NCAR graphics 4.3.1 on OS X
10.2.6 and can give me some advice?
