Problem in ncgm2mpeg

Dear NCAR graphics users

In ncgm2mpeg, the conversion of sun raster files to pnm files
by rasttopnm (NetPBM) fails when the colors of ncgm file is
composed of gray scale colors only.

However, the ncgm file with two colors of black and white or
colors (not gray scale colors) is smoothly converted to MPEG
file.

Have you ever experienced this problem?
