Hi all,

I have been unsucessfully trying to install NCAR Graphics 4.2.3 on a Sun Sparc running Solaris 8. I am using the g77/gcc/f2c compilers, which are installed in /usr/local. Has anyone been successful with this type of installation? I have tried binaries for Solaris 7 and have problems because of the non-standard compilers, and have tried to build from source but have run into similar problems. Is there a complete list of instructions for installation such as mine somewhere? I have searched the talk list and have been unsuccessful in finding any help.
