Converting NCGM files

Hi,

I tried to convert .ncgm files into a word compatible graphic file.
Someone passed Bob Lackman's suggestions (back in 1995) to me, using ctrans -d xwd -res 1024x1024 > raster.xwd, and imconv file.xwd file.gif.
So I did it with a black and white .ncgm file. It turned out black background and white lines. Is there anyway to reverse the color, making it white background and black lines?
