Yes, you should be able to download the source code for NCAR Graphics
version 4.2.3 from http://ngwww.ucar.edu/ng/download.html and build it
under Solaris 8 using the existing configuration files.

Or, I believe you can run binaries compiled under Solaris 7 on a
Solaris 8 system, so you can try downloading the pre-compiled
Solaris 7 binaries instead.
