    Help !!!

    I just installed NCAR Graphics version 4.1.1 under linux and I have a
    problem when try to check the installation with the following command :

    [root@neblina ~]# ncargex example

    NCAR Graphics Fortran Example <example>

      Copying example.f

    Compiling and linking...
    g77 -o example example.f -L/ncar/usr/local/ncarg/lib -L/usr/X11R6/lib
    -L/usr/local/lib -lncarg -lncarg_gks -lncarg_c -lX11
    /usr/bin/ld: cannot open -lX11: Arquivo ou diretório não encontrado
    collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

    The compile and link failed.

    I really do not understand because X11 is installed on my PC, since
    under the command :

    ctrans -d X11 existingfile.cgm

    { where <existingfile.cgm> is a cgm file I have from DEC satation}

    shows all graphics with no problem at all.

    Best regards,
