    Hi Jason,

    You already have the latest version of NCAR Graphics (4.2.1), so you
    don't need to download it again.

    The latest version of NCL is 4.2.0.a013, so this is the version you
    want to download (it's the only version available from the NCL home
    page). I know this is a weird version number, but this is because we
    release more versions of NCL due to new functions that we add on
    almost a monthly basis. Eventually, we will "freeze" NCL at a
    particular point, and give it a nice version number.

    In your case, I believe all you need to do is go to:

       http://ngwww.ucar.edu/ncl/download.html

    and follow the instructions for downloading NCL.
