errors

hi all! :)

I'm running an ncargf77 executable in background via a perl script. it
seems to work fine but when ctrans convert the gmeta into a sun
sometimes, not always, I got errors that I don't understand:

ctrans: FATAL - Illegal metafile element(class=7, id=23, name="Unknown") :
Invalid argument
ctrans: FATAL - Error decoding CGM element

or

ctrans: FATAL - Error fetching CGM element : Success

I have ncarg 4.2 on a red hat 6.2 linux box. The env vars NCARGLIB and
NCARG_ROOT are properly set.

does anyone have a clue?
where can I find documentation on ctrans error msg?
