is gmeta file's extension .ngcm

Hi,
i need to convert a multi frame gmeta file generated by CEDRIC to an
animated gif. I looked up at the site and saw the ncgm2gif script ...I
was just wondering if .ncgm file and the gmeta file generated by CEDRIC
are the same .otherwise please help me.
