Running NCAR version 4.0 under DIGITAL UNIX 4.0

To all:

       We have just upgraded the operating system and processors on our DEC
Alpha 8600. Our Ncar graphics version 4.0 ran fine under DEC OSF 3.2c, but
now produces memory faults when run under DIGITAL UNIX 4.0f. A simple test
program (color wheel) works fine but our model graphics program returns a
memory fault.
       Has anyone successfully recompiled Ncar graphics version 4.0 to run
under DIGITAL UNIX 4.0?
