My site (NOAA/NCEP) is interested in converting
cgm (or ncgm) metafiles to a private format
(AWAIPS "red book" metafile). How difficult is
it to write a converter regognizable by ctrans
analagous to the ones already there (xwd, ps hplj150 tek .. ..)
I do not have any document describing the structure
of a cgm metafile so I would need help finding that too.

This private metafile is vector and therefore scalable.. otherwise
I know lottle about it.
