I have observed that the x window dumps obtainable with
ictrans -d xwd look shifted at certain resolutioions at
ictrans 4.0.0 and 4.01. In particular 768x768 cuts the dump
window in half with the left half on the right side and
the right half in the left side and a clear discontinuity
running down the middle. The command

ictrans -d xwd -resolution 768x768 -e ' 1 plot' gmeta | xwud -plane 0

clearly shows this on both SGI and Cray PVP machines. When I read
the
xwd image and display the raw bits myself, the shift is also
evident.

Has anyone else seen this?
