Hi

I' m trying to build NCARG on a Linux Box and i get all kind of errors
Some of them are:

It doesn't seem to find it's own header files like(c.h, gksP.h, etc.)
and makedepend produses errors.
There is a problem fiding system header files also (like stddef.h etc.)
although i declare the proper directory in the configure utility (i.e.
/usr/include/linux)
It issues the command 'ar ../ libxxx.a whatever.o' (there is a space
between ../ and libxxx.a) so ar gives an error.
The c files cannot be compiled (the gcc error is 'file not found').
Only the fortan files seem to compile without a problem but they cannot
archived into librarys because the ar problem described above.

Any good ideas?
Any corrected scripts-makefiles?
Am i doing something wrong?
My nerves are broken after one night of compiling - reading remaking of
make files-moving header files around etc.

I use slackware96 motified a little bit. (gcc2.7.2p, libc.5.3.12,
NAG-F90(there is no problem with the fortran compiler))
