I recall seeing some not that said version 4.0 requires Fortran 2.0
(or better?) for the SunOS systems. We are running 4.1.3_U1 SunOS.
Would it be necessary to upgrade to Solaris (e.g. 2.4) in order to use
Fortran2.0? I understand that there are some licensing questions that
may cost for Sun's Fortran 2.0. Also, I spoke to a student yesterday
who was helping with systems in the Computer Science Department. He
said that no one had been able to get Solaris 2.4 to run a printer!
