Printer problems on VMS-NCARgraphics

VMS NCARGraphics managers:

We run NCARGraphics 3.0 under VMS 5.2. The cluster has two PostScript
laser printers: a Dec LN07 and an HP LaserJet 4m.

My problem is that both printers always produce one blank page before
printing the one or more graphs specified in an itrans session. We would
reuse the blanks sheets but they jam the printers.

Does anyone have a suggestion for modification of the print queue or
ncar printer driver to stop this?
